Hotel Atilius

The best thing that I can say about this hotel is that the staff were very nice. The service was good. The problem my wife and I had is that the hotel is very different from what it appears to be on the website. We expected a quiet place with good food. Instead we found a touristy place with a cruise-ship like buffet. The food was very bland and had no flavor. The whole experience was certainly not the Italy we know, especially the food. I am not sure how this place rates 4.7 stars unless the only people who go here have never been anywhere else in Italy. It seemed to us as though they were catering to what they thought German tourists want Italy to be like. The room was nice and clean however and again, the staff was very friendly.

There’s a reason why Hotel Atilius is consistently one of the top customer rated hotels Italy… the panoramic view of the lake and snow-capped mountains from the rooms, the variety and excellent fresh food but most of all the outstanding service. I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to note the exceptional staff at the hotel. Everyone went out of their way to be friendly, especially Monica at the front desk. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome, going so far as to make sure I didn’t miss meal times and giving me a to-go breakfast on my departure because they knew I’d be leaving before the buffet opened! I stayed 11 nights and the value was incredible and included a welcome gift on arrival, great amenities (especially the pool and hot tubs) and excellent wifi. The half board was definitely worth it. Limone is the prettiest village in Lake Garda and I’m so happy I stayed there and that I chose Hotel Atilius who were incredibly kind and generous hosts - I can’t wait to come back!

A modern hotel located in the most beautiful place in Limone. Being in this hotel for the first time, we were pleasantly impressed by how clean and organized everything is. Very nice and responsive staff. The food is very tasty, fresh and diverse and the wine and cocktails are among the best and the best. I confidently recommend this wonderful place for vacations and for a short weekend. We will definitely come back here.
